Okay, on first blush, this blonde girl looks pretty young, but, if you look at her pictures closer, you’ll see that she’s at LEAST 23!! Long story short, she has a great body, and it’s a neat picture set from met-art…
Speaking of long stories, here comes my ski adventure!
When I was younger, my class went on two day trips to a nearby ski hill to enjoy some downhill skiing. At the time, I had never had skis strapped to my feet before, so I, along with a handful of my classmates, took super-novice-beginner lessons on the bunny hill, learning how to snowplow and how to use the tow rope. On the second day, us skiing newbies got bold enough to ride the tow rope all the way to the top of the bunny hill… I fell trying to make my first snow-plow-all-the-way turn – caught an edge and went rolling. When I had finished rolling, I lay there a moment, feeling a bit stunned and embarrassed, and then started trying to sort myself out, and unpack myself from the giant snowball to get up and continue skiing.
My skis were sort of tangled up in my legs, and it took me a while to figure it out and get back up on my feet, which involved removing a ski and then watching it glide down the hill to the bottom. A medic on a snowmobile came by and asked me if I was okay. I wasn’t hurt, and told him so, and watched him motor away, thinking that my fall must have looked pretty bad if the medic bothered to come out to check it out. In hindsight, it was probably just the fact that I looked like a little kid who was taking a really long time to get back on her feet. At any rate, after that spill, I was done with downhill skiing.
Fast forward a depressingly large number of years to 2004, when I allowed myself to be talked into signing up for another round of super-beginner-newbie ski lessons at a local ski hill. I was skeptical, but figured it was worth giving it another shot. Surprise, surprise – I thoroughly enjoyed the skiing this time around. No more snow-plow-all-the-way, though – this time, the instructor let me snow plow for about five minutes before she said, “Now I’m going to teach you guys how to really ski.” Two days of lessons, and I could ski! ^_^ I invested in some really nice skis, boots, and a helmet, gathered up my cobbled together ski outfit – gloves that were a bit too big bought from Winners, nice snowpants found by chance at Winners, and an oldish slightly large on me Columbia ski jacket, and the headed out to where the real skiing was to be had: the mountain ski resorts.
Now, I don’t go often, but I still enjoy skiing. Very much so. I’m a pretty solid green run skier, if I do say so myself. ^_^ This year, I added poles to my gear.
What’s the point? Well, in 2006 I did not manage to get out to the ski resorts even once. How sad! This year, though, will be different, because yesterday, I had my first ski day of the season. I was really apprehensive at first – not only because I hadn’t been in oh so long, but because I was trying out skiing with poles for the first time since that childhood ski trial. I got up to the top of my favourite green run, and started out snow plowing…. After the first turn, my legs refused to snow plow anymore – they remembered how to ski semi-properly, even if my brain thought they didn’t, and by golly they were going to ski semi-properly!
So I had a very good first day! I managed to not fall, I didn’t completely confuse myself with the poles, and the bonus kicker: today I’m not really sore! ^_^ My muscles feel tired, sure, but there’s no groaning in pain when I move around… It must mean that I’m still in somewhat decent shape!
Maybe next time I go, I’ll be able to summon the courage to give a blue run a try. ^_^
Anyways, enjoy the young blonde teen from met-art!!

The blond girl does have a nice body. Met-Art is “picky” about who they photograph which is nice. About you on the slopes,im glad you had a nice time and didnt get too rusty. Next time invite us readers to go with you!!! And yups..even if you think you have forgotten your skiing skills,it has become second nature somewhere deep in the dark recesses of your brain
Personally,i prefer snow boarding to skiing because one can make more radical maneuvers!
One more thing, how do you know that blond girl is at least 23?? Maybe she is 22 or 24
Jim: Yup – met-art is pretty decent in that respect!!! As for skiing, I didn’t think you’d have any experience with snow!! Sandboarding just isn’t the same as snowboarding!! ^_^
