I’ve been to see a few movies in the past week and a half – circumstances conspired in such a way that people around me went a bit movie nuts.
First up was “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian”. The first one was better.
Next up was “Up”. I quite enjoyed this one, and we even saw it in 3D. Ohhhhh, spiffy. They charged extra on admission for the 3D spiffyness, so we kept our 3D glasses as souvenirs. No, they weren’t stolen! They came individually wrapped in little plastic bags, and no one said that we were required to return them – they had a big bin out to collect them from folks who didn’t want to keep them. But we kept ours.
Then came “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs”. Up was better, but this was better than Night at the Museum. Again, viewed in spiffy 3D.
One thing that was common to all these movies was a trailer for G-Force. Another CGI wonder movie with animated guinea pigs as the heroes and hapless humans as the villains. Looks like it could have some entertainment potential, though I’m not sure I’d splurge to see it in theatres. Even with the spiffy 3D.
Lots of movies are featuring the 3Dness. I wonder if I could convince them to waive the extra 3D charge if I brought my own glasses?

I had noticed about the frequent rate they’re making movies into 3-D, but never really was all that enthralled with it. It doesn’t help that I feel those glasses tend to be a bit uncomfortable on me.
I had heard The new Night at the Museum prolly was a bit of a letdown, not that I’d have seen it in theaters anyhow. It’d sound like there’d be too much for them to fit into a single movie… Especially if they retain all the other elements from the first movie.
I’ll not comment on Up cuz… I wanna see it dirst before saying anything about it… Which may take several months… Cuz I’m likely to wait for it to come to DVD.

I kinda don’t like Dancing Bear all that much, maybe its cuz of the strippers they have on their crew, not as… hot personally…
I’ll never understand why chicks go so wild over some things… Like strippers… And certain music groups-depending on their tastes of course-whilst guys… Tho we do freak out from time to time… We usually jus high five each other and grunt or something… Never let it all hang out…
Perhaps guys jus don’t know how to have as much fun as chicks do…

Hmmm… animated movie run huh? I haven’t seen many movies this year, although I want to see Public Enemies. BTW, I nearly ran smack into Christian Bale at the mall here in LA. I’m no woman, but I can see why women like him.
BTW, this gallery concerns me if I was a man about to get married. Even the bachelor parties I went to weren’t “this” wild. Close, but not this crazy. Is this what you would want for your bachelorette party Kaori?
C-U: The glasses are a bit uncomfortable, but it’s amazing how clear the movies are with 3d elements!!! “Up” was very good….
As for girls/women going crazy – I really think it’s because we want to prove ourselfs to other women!

Nope – I wouldn’t want it for my own bachelorette party…. But women do get pretty raunchy… Not as hardcore as this one however!!!
