I am prepared to admit that I am probably on some level addicted to Coca-Cola. It’s my favourite beverage. ^_^ It’s just soooooo thirst quenching - sometimes I’ll get this thirst and nothing else will do the trick. It’s a nice complement to pretty much any food. Sometimes, though, and this might seem blasphemous, but sometimes, I get the urge for fountain Coke. Not the pure stuff, in cans or bottles, but the stuff that is mixed up from syrup and club soda. ^_^
I’m not sure why this is - you’d think that the real, factory-blended product would always be superior to any sort of reconstituted blend. Apparently, this notion is false.
I have gotten hankerings for Coca-Cola, and I’ve had hankerings for fountain Coca-Cola, but I’ve never had a hankering for bottled or canned Coca-Cola. A Coca-Cola hankering will be satisfied by either type, but a hankering for fountain Coca-Cola will only be satisfied by fountain Coca-Cola.
It seems so wrong. Like turning down fancy expensive chocolate in favour of artificial chocolate-flavoured candy. My tastebuds are eccentric, indeed. ^_^

Your brain may be a distorted with OCD & a severe bug phobia yet the coke obsession is one item i have to agree with you on! My friends think im a nut like you when it comes to coke and they are always getting on my case for over indulging in this Kaori favorite carmel colored wonder! One thing that pisses me off though is that coke used to me made with sugar & now it is made with corn syrup which isnt as good because it makes the coke too sticky and too sweet. Only a few places in the world is it still made with cane sugar,and let’s just say..once in a while ill pay top dollar to import the “real thing” because it is soOoOo much betterwhen made from cane sugar! How about where you are,is your supply made from cane or corn?
