I looked around to see if anyone was now pointing and laughing, and no one was. I remembered childhood school chums telling me that it’s impossible to lick your own elbow, and wiped the ice cream away with the back of my other hand. I figured, it’s okay, this isn’t too noticeable, I’ll be able to continue on my way, and take care of clean up later.
Then about twenty paces later, I turned the corner, took about five steps, and managed to put my chin into my ice cream.

Oh, and I nearly forgot the best part. It wasn’t an ice cream cone. It was a scoop of ice cream in a cup, and I was eating it with a spoon. And when I say I put my elbow in, and then my chin, I mean they went into the cup. The elbow is weird in any event, but don’t ask me to explain how I managed to put my chin into a cup of ice cream when I was eating it with a spoon….
