Remember how, oh, about two weeks ago, I ordered some lovely cotton chenille yarn from an online store so that I could make myself a new washcloth?

It still isn’t here!

I thought for sure it would be here by now! And I’d be lathering up with a wonderful new goodie! T-T

In other news, with the approach of winter, and the super drying effects of colder air and indoor heaters kicking in, I realized that my current body cream is no longer an adequate moisturizer. After every shower, I dutifully spread this stuff over every bit of skin on me – okay, fine, almost every bit – and in the spring, summer, and autumn, it’s great. The bonus kicker is they have a huge scent bar, which is the selection of scents you can have put in your product. So far I’ve tried the Body Souffle in Cinnamon Chocolate Swirl (meh), Frosted Marble Cake (okay), Peppermint Patty (awesome!), Cupcake Batter (wonderful!), and Pink & Black (fantabulous!). They have at least 100 scents to choose from, so you’re sure to find something that appeals to you. ^_^ But, over the summer they reworked their product line (and streamlined their scent bar – there used to be over 600 scents!), and the Hula Girl Body Souffle is no longer available. So my girly dilemma is, I need a more powerful wintertime moisturizer, and I need to look for a new moisturizer for the other seasons.

Yesterday, I happened to be near a Bay store, where they have Origins counters. I’m a big time Origins fan. ^_^ I believe their chemists do fine work, though I’m sure their marketers are even better at their jobs. ^_^ Anyhoo, I had a browse around, and ended up purchasing a tub of their Cocoa Therapy Body Butter. Normally, I don’t like body butters – though they’re amazingly good moisturizers, they tend to be so thick that putting them on is so unpleasant you’d rather just dry up and blow away. But the bit I tried on the backs of my hands spread so easily! So this might be my new wintertime moisturizer. ^_^ We’ll see how it works out. ^_^

Oh, and I almost forgot about the bonus kicker – it’s made with cocoa, so it smells like Tootsie Roll! ^_^
