I stumbled upon a stroke of luck today – I got a tip that some stores had gotten in some stock of Rockband, which is like Guitar Hero, except that when you play multiplayer one player plays guitar, one plays drum, one can sing, and if you happen to have a second compatible guitar controller, you can have someone play bass. Pretty spiffy. ^_^
So I was off and running to see if I could get myself one of these bundles, complete with the game, the guitar controller, the drum set, and a mic.
Guess what? ^_^ I gots one! ^_^
Now, I haven’t been playing nonstop since I got it home, but I’ve played a few songs tonight. It’s fun. ^_^ I’m only playing on medium level at this point, and I have some issues with some of the chords – I forget where my fingers are, and it takes a moment of concentration to sort out which two I need to be using, by which point the notes are long gone….
But you know what they say – practice makes perfect! ^_^
