It’s official – today the Christmas tree finally came down. The ornaments were removed and stored in their packaging, the tree was unplugged and dismantled, then all tucked away in its box and moved into its storage space, where it will stay untouched until December 2007 – or maybe November!!
It seems sad that the festiveness has gone, but such is life, I suppose. The kitchen table has been moved back into its space, and the corner where the tree stood is now pretty much empty.
The tree was hiding a fair number of dust bunnies though! They’ve all been vacuumed away now, along with some fake needles that fell off.
Yes, yes, I know – the tree really should have been taken down about two weeks ago. Yes, I realize this means I had a Christmas tree up in February. ^_^

One more thing about your comment from the other day,the first time i tried snow boarding,i was really surprised on how different one’s approach to balance has to be in the snow. In the water,you can lean way.. over at incredible angles and “not”lose your balance compared to snowboarding. It took me a good number of runs to get used to that
