I’m really happy tonight because it’s pomegranate season! ^_^
Tonight I cracked open a pomegranate to have with my dinner. They’re sort of fiddly to eat – you have to shell all the little pods, but they’re so yummy, so it’s so worth it. ^_^ All those little ruby red jewels of yumminess. So tasty. And so good for you too, with all that antioxidant power. ^_^
I will definitely have to pick up some more next time I’m out grocery shopping. After all, right now they’re widely available in giant mutant format, and more reasonably priced too – you can usually get them for roughly $2.50 per pomegranate. ^_^ Okay, maybe that’s still on the pricey side – after all, bananas regularly weigh in at around $0.57 a pound.
That being said – pomegranates are totally worth it. ^_^
