Okay guys, madsexparty is the same people who do drunksexorgy, and partyhardcore… notice a theme?? ^_^ I’ll have some partyhardcore posted in the next few days…. I have always pondered the age old question: When should one replace a bra? Okay, fine, not always, but ever since I started needing to wear the things. ^_^ Obviously, if the thing is falling apart or is uncomfortable, then the answer is right away. Then again, I’ve never had one fall apart on me, and discomfort, if built up gradually, could potentially go unnoticed for a very long time. So this brings us back to the original question. At what frequency should a girl toss old bras and buy new replacements?
If you ask bra vendors, they will say a bra will last around six months, depending on frequency of usage and care in washing. Well. That’s not helpful, because they don’t say what kind of frequency should lead to a six month lasting period – everyday? Every other day? Once a week? Once a month? And the care in washing thing is a load of bupkiss, because I sincerely doubt that anyone in her right mind actually washes her bras by hand every single time. I for one have never done that. I always toss them in the machine, then lay them out to dry. ^_^ Like I said, I’ve never had a bra fall apart on me, so I can’t be doing too much damage. So I don’t know what to make of that six month expiry.
My current collection, with a couple of exceptions, has been in my possession and in use for, well, I’m going to say at least two years, and I didn’t feel like anything was amiss. I know now, though, that that’s a bit long to wait before replacing, because I ordered two new ones on clearance, and now I sincerely regret not having ordered more, because the difference between the old bras and the new bras is making me not want to wear my old ones anymore! T-T I’m trying to stick to a budget, though, so I’ll wait until there’s another clearance before I get more.
