So I washed my hair for the first time since the relatively big chop this morning. Boy was that strange! It’s funny – when you’re growing your hair out, you don’t really notice the addition of weight and length because it’s so gradual. When you get a cut, though, everything is sudden and new. I think I managed to lose at least five minutes off my total shower time, if not closer to ten minutes, just because I no longer need to work shampoo and conditioner through long hair. I’ve also, over the years, become accustomed to certain head movements I need to make to sort of toss my wet hair over my shoulders to get it out of the way. I nearly threw myself onto my back when I did it today! O_o I wonder if this means now that my neck muscles will get all weak and atrophy because of the reduced hair weight? ^_^
