okay, I’m not sure why I felt like calling it ‘clam licking’ today, but I guess it was fun… The gallery above is from Craving Carmen, and stars one of her other cohorts – Southern Brooke! I still think it’s more fun watching Craving Carmen stick sex toys up her ass….
Anyways, deploy, DEPLOY!
I’ve been playing some with my replacement Rock Band guitar controller. The old one with the broken whammy bar has been sent back to the kind folks at Electronic Arts.
One thing I’ve been noticing is that energy deployment has been less than reliable since the switch. Sometimes, I’ll be able to deploy my energy once. Sometimes, I can do it multiple times throughout a song. Other times, I’ll play pretty well the whole song with the guitar vertical – not easy to do, by the way – and at the end the game calls me an energy hoarder, at which point I holler at the screen that I was trying to deploy my energy, but noooooo, it wouldn’t let me.
That being said, I don’t think I have another defective guitar, because I seem to remember having trouble with the original guitar in this respect too – it took a while before I was able to deploy my accumulated energy at precise points controlled by me and only me. Maybe the controllers have to sort of get calibrated with play?
Not that it matters a whole bunch. Because, if the fates smile upon me, I will have a brand spanking new set of Rock Band peripherals in a matter of mere days, because Rock Band 2 is scheduled for release October 19, and I’ve got a bundle preordered, so I will not have to wait. The new guitar is supposed to have a better energy deploying mechanism in it……
I really hope the release isn’t delayed!

yeah. lets hope the new game goes better for you. how are your eyes holding up at the moment? i do wish i could sort out my heating to warm up the place right before i get up but i darent fiddle with it haha and what with all these money problems im saving wherever i can

Danny: My eyes are definitely getting better… They still dry out frequently, but not as bad as it used to be!
Definitely a good time to save as much money as you can!
At this point they probably go to a recycling centre. When the exchange first started they checked every single one to see what should be improved for the next version.
