I’m just trying to be a bit pessimistic, so that whatever situation develops seems not so bad. ^_^ Of course, now that I’ve said that, watch – the iPhone won’t arrive till October 2009, complete with the costs I’ve listed above, and there will be a one-year waiting period unless you are one of the lucky first thirty people in Canada to get it….

I wonder, though, if I should consider getting a case to go with my iPhone. Because I will be getting one. I may not get it till 2015, when the prices are reasonable, but I will get one. ^_^ I’ve never had a case for a cell phone, but since the iPhone is pretty much one big screen, I wonder if I should be worried about scratching or damaging that screen. A few years ago, one of my uncles was concerned about scratching the sleek finish on his cell phone, so he started using one of his daughter’s old baby socks as a case. ^_^ It was pretty funny – there’d be a ring, and he’d haul this tiny pink sock out of his pocket, and dump a phone out of it. ^_^ I don’t think I’ll be making the rounds by my relatives’ homes looking for old baby socks, but I wonder if I do want something.

I guess, though, that it’s silly for me to wonder about all this when I don’t even have the iPhone yet. ^_^
