It’s that crazy time of year again. Semesters are wrapping up. The holidays are upon us. Tis the season to visit the mall! ^_^

I was at a mall today - not for shopping though. Went to see a movie, I did. ^_^ But the mall was fully decked out in the spirit of the season. Near the food court, there’s a little spot that sort of serves as a hub, so that means there’s a circle of empty floor space with a high ceiling above it - probably so you can smell the yummy smells of the food court on the second level - and it is currently decorated with hanging sparkly cardboard cutout snowflakes, and a fancy projector beams snowflake images onto the floor, but these move around, giving you the effect of standing in a beautiful swirling gentle snowfall while in a comfortably climate controlled environment. ^_^

Santa’s village is also set up, and kidlets line up to have their turn telling the jolly man in red what they would like for Christmas, and get a picture taken commemorating the visit along with a candy cane. For a fraction of a second, I debated lining up for my own turn - I haven’t had a chat with a mall Santa in years! Parents of little ones probably wouldn’t have been too happy with me if I took a turn, though. That and the flashbulbs they were using were absolutely blinding, so I figured I’d be in a better position for movie watching if I didn’t blast out my retinas first. ^_^

What movie did I see? Hitman. It was pretty good - I enjoyed it. When I first heard about the movie, someone was asking if anyone knew who was playing the main character, and I joked that it was Vin Diesel. It wasn’t - Timothy Olyphant got the role - but I wasn’t too far off in my guess - Vin Diesel was an executive producer on the project. I wonder why he didn’t insist on that role? And why did I guess Vin Diesel? Because he was the first actor to come to mind who was in the right sort of age range and kept his head bald!!!!!
