Anyways, when you consider that the sun rises in the east, and sets in the west, and travels in a relatively straight arc across the sky in its day’s journey, it should follow that if you are driving a car in one direction, the sun is shining in on one side, and when you drive back in the opposite direction, the sun is shining in on the other side.
Yet, my experience has been that the sun always shines in on the driver’s side. Always. Doesn’t matter the time of day, or the direction of travel. The only escape is on overcast days.
On a related note, anyone who tells you that it is impossible to get a tan through a glass window is a liar. I spent the strong sun hours of Sunday in the driver’s seat with the window up, wearing a sleeveless shirt, and when I got home, my left arm looked darker than my right! Not drastically darker - I don’t look as though I put my left arm into a roaster or something. Still, I think I can even see a faint watch tan line, and a line from where my shirt was. The only explanation is that I tanned my arm through the glass window of my car. Bah….

If you dont want to get tanned on one side,tint your car windows with uv film. It should keep you from getting that zebra look!

Sunday 5:45 A. M.

I always thought glass was UV proof too. I haven’t observed this strange solar effect you refer to but my left arm is darker than my right. I thought the right arm was just shielded by my body.
How do you tell if a guy is to big before you have sex with him? Do you just ask: “Hey dude how big are you just in case we have sex at some point”.
