It comes in four liter jugs, pre-mixed – not a frozen concentrate is what I mean. It’s sort of expensive though – usually around $4 for a jug. So far, I’ve only bought it when it’s on sale – not a big sale, usually around $3.50 for the jug.

It’s flavoured with cherry and pineapple juice, among others. It’s only 110 calories per 250 mL, which is less than frozen concentrate juices, which typically ring in around 120. A 250 mL serving provides me with 100% of my daily recommended vitamin C.

The downside? Other than the price, I mean. It sure doesn’t look like a health-conscious drink. It’s fluorescent pink. Seriously. I bet it glows under UV light. And the colouring they use in it sticks around on your tongue. I drink a glass, and I’ve got a bright pink tongue for hours. And the sugar… I can’t believe how much sugar it FEELS like it has… I almost have a diabetic coma after drinking it…

Well. I suppose there’s no such thing as a perfect beverage.
