Okay guys, I’ve never liked tile bathrooms… tile shower stalls… tile ‘anything that can I have to touch with my bare skin…’
It’s not that I don’t like the feeling of stone – it’s the grout. You know, the semi-porous gunk they use to seal the cracks between the tile? The semi-porous areas that if not sealed with a plastic lacquer just serve to collect dust, grow fungus, and harbour other nasty bacteria???
I especially can’t stand public showers that have tile floors – flipflops/crocs are a must. Even then, I wonder how many little wart colonies are nesting there – waiting for the next unsuspecting foot!

Y’know, I was fortunate enough a few years back to actually visit the Met-Art Museum in downtown Budapest. I remember they had a rather large Raphael exhibit, an extremely well-organized and rewarding Dutch Masters wing, and a very rare Caravaggio still life entitled “Hot Wet Snatch.” At any rate, I highly recommend the Met Art Museum to anyone traveling abroad.
