Anyways, today, I told myself I would unpack those boxes that have been sitting cluttering up the corner of the living room for the past many, many months – however long I’ve been living here.
I started at about 9 AM, I think.
I took a 45 minute break to down some lunch at around 1:45 PM.
I finished the unpacking at 3 PM.

On the one hand, it’s very nice to have that corner cleared.
On the other hand, I hate unpacking with even greater passion than before, and would like nothing better than to never move again. Well, okay, that’s not true, eventually I will want to move again, I’m sure. But boy does moving blow.
If I move again, it has to be to somewhere permanent. A house, preferably no neighbours, and at least 2000 square feet…
I should add that after I finished the corner clear-out, I washed up all the pots and pans that were littering the kitchen from the past few days.
So now, I’m in full-out relax mode. I’ve got a candle lit – one I bought at Fruits & Passion about four years ago that has a wonderful vanilla-ey scent called Vanilla Bourbon. My site is mostly working, and faster than before..
I think I’ll go relax with a book! (Currently reading Metro Girl by Janet Evanovich)

Fuck i have to agree. Moving really blows. i moved some ridiculous amount like 6 times in the past 2 years. I intend on staying put for a few years while i put money aside for a house myself….. HOwever, i have to say that unpacking is a lot more fun than packing. THAT’s the part i really can’t stand. That and the actual moving of boxes and furniture…. I’m sort of hoping for one of those houses with far neighbors and huge land too…. too bad those houses are always so far from the city… sigh
