Anyways, a variety of things can make a person aware of their ever-increasing age. You might start noticing some gray peeking through your hair. Or you might start noticing that the younger people you happen to come across in your daily dealings are looking younger and younger.
The worst, I find, is when you realize that other people no longer think of you as being a young person. They stop asking you to present a driver’s license or other form of photo ID with your birth date on it when you go into clubs, or order not-for-minors drinks. Small children start referring you to as “man” or “lady” instead of “boy” or “girl”.
The most crushing blow of all, though, would be when someone who is clearly considerably older than you demonstrates that he or she no longer thinks of you as a young person. This happened to me today. I was in the checkout line at Costco, and the somewhat elderly gentleman in line ahead of me was trying to buy a box of Chewy chocolate chip granola bars because there was a $2 off coupon, but he had been unable to locate the chocolate chip ones, so he’d picked up a box of Dipps instead. The Dipps, however, didn’t qualify for the coupon. Now the reason why he couldn’t find the chocolate chip ones is because they had moved them away from the other granola bars to the end of the aisle, presumably so that more people would see them. Obviously, this didn’t work as planned for this gentleman. So, standing right there, I happened to overhear, and I had found them and picked up a box for myself, so I pointed out that the chocolate chip granola bars were separated from the others, and pointed out where I had found them. The cashier asked him if he wanted a box. He said yes, and she called over another associate to fetch it for him. The associate asked where they were, and he said, “Well, this lady here says they’re on the end there.” Not “girl”, not “young lady”. Just “lady”…..

I noticed that some of my friends with black hair especially..”asian friends” who are in their late 20’s are already getting a few gray hairs! After observing ppl,it seems to me that those with black hair tend to get gray hair before those with light hair. In that regard,im glad im not lucky enough to be born with dark hair! 
Did either of your parents get any gray while still some what young? And if you go gray by the time you are 30 will you be “gray and proud” & donate all your free time to advise the youngsters on the virtues and wisdom of old age? Or will you dye your hair artificial black and try to trick the masses into thinking you are still young when they give you a quick glance in the corner of their eye walking toward you as you stroll down the sidewalk to costco

As for me, I’m still far away from grey!! If I start to gray in the late 20’s, I’ll definitely dye it!!!
