a few nights ago, I blogged about finding a new handbag that I would like to purchase for myself. I guess my subconscious self must have decided that I can earn the right to spend that money if I am sufficiently well behaved for a period, because today has been rather domestically productive. I sorted through a stack of old bills and things and filed them all away. (As a hint of how long that stack has been accumulating, the oldest ones I filed were paid in March.) I did a load of laundry. I washed and sliced some strawberries – made turkey strawberry brie melt sandwiches for dinner tonight. ^_^ I organized some papers that I’ve collected. I fiddled with a pulled thread on a shirt that’s been waiting for my attention for over a month now – but the shirt is made of a sort of double layer tiny knit made of an untwisted nylon-type filament, so it was pretty much impossible for me to unpull the pull. In the end, I snipped it, but that was after I had fiddled with no results for about 20 minutes. I sorted through the stack of fliers, clipped some coupons and made a small grocery shopping list, then set the fliers aside for recycling. Later I did another load of laundry and vacuumed, then made a quick run to the grocery store – for the turkey and the bread….
