I don’t have much to post for this calendar day. I don’t have much to say. I vacuumed the house yesterday, and the floors look much better. I had intended to mop the floor in the kitchen and at the front entryway, but laziness has gotten the better of me, so it’s going to wait. Maybe it’ll get done next week, immediately after I vacuum.
A friend of mine is having a birthday soon – in three weeks, actually – and I’m thinking of knitting her a scarf. The question is, do I want to go for a thick, bulky scarf, or a super long, sort of skinny scarf made out of that stuff that knits up to look a bit like faux fur? I’m leaning towards the latter, but I have a feeling it will largely depend on the colour selection.

I like to maintain a clean…house because one feels better after a stressful day to come home and see an organized and dust& dirt free place. Is your place at least organized or do you have some clutter around and about?? About the scarf,i agree..the latter sounds better if.. you find appropriate colors. About riding on the back of a bike,it is true..riding on the back of a bike can be nice too because you can relax and look up and around and enjoy the view without worrying about the dangerous road condtions around you. That’s a tough choice, Kaori. On the one hand, you could buy her a thick scarf, which certainly would have the advantage of practicality and usefulness on its side. Then again, a faux fur scarf would probably look better with a light brown leather or suede coat, and might give the illusion of being worth than it is. On the other other hand, perhaps it might be best if you knit a scarf yourself, since nothing you could buy in a fancy store could ever replace the uniqueness of a handmade item. Then again, you could just eat her out.
