In the years I’ve been living in Montreal, I’ve seen more spiders here than I ever had before in my life. I’ve gotten into the habit of doing ‘spider checks’ upon moving from room to room in the apartment – I check all around the ceilings, particularly in corners, looking for spiders. Spiders have set up camp in the side view mirrors of my car – so far, I’ve had five do this. It works really well for them – they spin their webs, and stay sheltered when they’re not out doing their thing. If we happen to start driving while they’re out on the web, if I’m not going fast enough, they can make a mad dash for the safety of the mirror. I had a spider come all the way to Washington D.C. with us last summer. In June, another spider came all the way to Boston with me. Both spiders also stuck around for the return trips.
I know spiders are good. I know that they eat bugs and thus help to keep the bug population under control. I also know that there aren’t that many bugs flying around the apartment, so there really isn’t much reason for the spiders to come in!
Having seen so many more spiders, this also means that I’ve killed many more spiders. Actually, I don’t think I’d ever killed a spider prior to moving here – I remember a friend from elementary school telling me that it was bad luck to smush a spider. I actually have this nifty tennis racket-looking thingy that lets me kill spiders by zapping them, and therefore skipping the smushing bit. Smushed or not, I’m still killing spiders.
I sure hope there’s no such thing as spider karma. If there is, I’m doomed to meet my end at the hands (legs?) of a swarm of angry tarantulas. Ugggghhhh.
Anyways, now that you’re sufficiently creeped out (I won’t bother showing you pictures of this pesky little bug problem), I’ll try to make it all better by linking to a free Partyhardcore gallery for you This is from the August 08 2005 update, and it looks like the party is getting into full swing… You can see a few girls double teamed by strippers, and a a lot of drunk amateur girls giving blowjobs… (I like how you can see the flushed pink in their cheeks from all the alcohol they’re consuming!!!!!)

Picture qaulity is excellent. My only complaint is that the last couple pages of each picture set is pretty boring, in that they have multiple frames showing a girl giving a blow job and each frame is like a fraction of a second apart. Sometimes its almost two pages of almost the same picture. Its some stupid sequence crap, no value.
I’m not sure which site I saw them, maybe Partyhardcore or Drunk Sex Orgy, but I only saw two instances where girls were engaged in anal sex with the male strippers. “Spider Karma” Spiders are the sharks of the insect world. The fact that you dont see other bugs in your apt is because the spiders are doing their job! To me, spiders are so beneficial to the enviorment! i wont kill them. I try to catch them in a paper bag and release them outdoors. Some bugs like roaches & mosquito’s deserve to be killed. Spiders are the good guys who help protect you from all the bad bugs. I assume the spiders in your apt are keeping the ant population or some other freaky bug under control. So Please…..keep your “good karma” in place when it comes to the spiders. I would hate to have to fly over there and rescue you from a giant web when your karma runs out :- )

As for spiders controlling the ants… If only that was the case!
I also had a nasty ant problem.. Pharoah ants to be precise!! They were getting in my electronics, dvd’s, books, etc… I had to start putting my clothes in ziplock bags (or at least, my panties, cause that would just be too disturbing..)
Killing two a day in the bedroom is insane!! As it stands right now, I count 3 out my balcony door!!!

eitherway, after two years of bait poisoning, the pharoah ants are under control.. the spiders however.. BLECH!!! I’m not letting them live when they come in!
and they’re not little guys.. they’re big, hairy, juicy things… you can actually SEE the joints in their legs from a distance… blech! So yeah, if you don’t hear from me for a week or so, you might have to come cut me out of a web
