So everyone was wondering about my hardcore partying last night. Let’s just say, it wasn’t what you may have pictured! I did a little bit of shoe shopping with a friend. We just went to one store - I’m still looking for black boots with a 2.5″ chunky heel, she was looking for pretty much anything. She’s got narrow heels, which means she can’t wear slip on shoes because her heels pop out when she walks. You’d think Mary Jane style shoes would fix the problem, since they’ve got a strap, but most styles put the strap so far forward that it actually doesn’t serve any purpose other than a decorative one.
She did find some last night though - with my help - that work. They’re sort of a Mary Jane style sneaker, made by Merrell, so the sole of the shoe looks quite comfortable and durable, and the upper is cute. Plus, they gave it two straps, instead of one, and one of them is a real strap that you do up when you put the shoe on. Naturally, this means that the shoes stay on her feet. ^_^ She went home happy and beshoed.
