To celebrate the first of the month, I was wearing a skirt today.

Okay, to be perfectly honest, I’m not really celebrating the first of the month with my skirtdom. What it is, is over a year ago I ordered a pair of over-the-knee high heeled black boots to wear with short skirts when the temperature drops. Thing is, I never got into the skirt wearing spirit, and the boots have gone unworn. I am attempting to change that.

So I’m beskirted and bebooted as I type. I like the boots, but they sort of make me feel like I’m dressing up to play Sailor Moon or something. The bottoms of the boots are smooth though, so walking on any snowy bits could get interesting – I’ve already skidded a couple of times on the carpet inside! O_o

They’re almost stripper boots – come up over the knee, and leave a gap of about 3 inches where my skirt comes down to meet them!

You guys would love them! I’ll have to see if I can get some pictures snapped..
