Anyways, I was just thinking about ‘The Monster Mash’….
I slept on my neck funny the night before last. So yesterday, my neck was a bit stiff – I’d feel a twinge of pain when I shoulder checked while driving. No biggy. As I was getting ready for bed, though, it seemed to have worsened a bit – I felt the twinge when I tilted my head back to put in my eyedrops.
Today, it’s been worse. I have to turn my torso not only for shoulder checking, but for any time I want to look to the side, and still it hurts. It hurts when I tilt my head back to look up. I hurts when I tilt my head forward to look down. It’s actually been so bad, I’ve been taking Tylenol to try and get enough relief to have somewhat normal head mobility. The Tylenol’s helped, but it hasn’t made the pain go away entirely.
So I’m walking around looking like I’m channeling Frankenstein’s monster. That or I have a stiff rod attached to my spine(^_^)… It’s been a rough couple of months with the rash,swollen lymph nodes, chills, and now a stiff neck!!!!

A good massage from me would clear that up. But since I’m no where near you. A masseuse closer to home would just as well.

I guess the saying is true..”everything comes in a basket” if i were there i would massage your neck and cook your meals for you & fluff your pillows when i tuck you on bed. I would even wash all…….those dirty dishes that i know….are filling up in your sink right now. 
If you have an electric heating pad or a hot water bottle place it next to your neck while sleeping. If it gets really bad buy one of those foam whiplash collars. I used one once when my neck felt like yours and it worked really well. The trouble with neck injury is that your neck has to carry the weight of your head. The whiplash foam takes all the weight off of your neck muscles and spine so it heals much faster & feels much better! If it is too freaky to wear one at work or in public at least wear one at home if you dont feel better soon. let us know tomorrow how your doing. (((((hugs)))))
