Excited, I rushed over there today, and happily presented my delivery notice. The girl scanned the barcode, and said, “Whoops, it’s not in the system.”
I blinked at her. “But I got the notice yesterday, and it says my package would be here today.”
She shrugged. “Yeah, but we lost a package, so I’m supposed to take down the name and number of every person whose notice doesn’t appear in the system. When we find your package, we’ll call you.”
I blinked at her again, as tears started to form…. “And if you don’t find it, is it gone forever?”
“Pretty much.”
Now I’m flabbergasted. “So if it’s gone forever, what happens?”
She shrugged again. “Whoever shipped the item to you will refund your money, or they’ll get the package returned to them and they’ll just send it out again.”
So thanks to Canada Post, I have to wait some more for my lovely glass pen! T-T It was shipped out of Seattle on August 22. It crossed the border on August 24. Tomorrow will be September 1. Now it’s a long weekend, and it will be at least a few days until anyone STARTS to look at it!!!

Yo Kaori, I feel your pain, man. After Hurricane Katrina hit, our family here in New Orleans didn’t get mail for MONTHS! Of course, we didn’t get food, clean water or even medical care either, and we basically had to live on our roof for something like three days until someone finally medivaced in some stale crackers and bottled water. But shit, man, waiting an extra three days for a GLASS PEN must be at the very TOP of the all-time suck list. Sho’ nuff.
Yawn..after 3am my time,just got home. The pen maybe late yet you will still have your pen eventually. A friend of mine tried to send me a one of kind ring,placed it in a un padded cheap letter envelope so the ppl who handled the mail could see the shape and feel that it was a ring ready for easy..stealing lolz! It was stolen by some less than honest postal employee naturally..! I was looking fwd to it so so much and it was stolen in the mail and gone forever! Im off to sleep nite..
